I don't know if this question is in the right category, but I didn't really know where to put it.

My sister right now is sitting in the living room. She is reading the book "War and Peace" by Leo Tolstoy, listening to the Rolling Stones, and watching Scooby Doo (lol) all at the same time. She is also having a conversation with my mother. How in the hell does she do that? If I went in there right now, she could tell me what is going on in the book, what the Stones are singing, what Scooby and Shaggy are up to and what her and mom are discussing.

Let's see....maybe:
she has read the book before
catches just enough of the Stones melody to know the song
has already seen this episode of Scooby Doo
her and mom always talk about the same thing

I can do that. It amazes my husband that I can read, listen to music, have the tv on, and listen to him all at once.
