The only way to get rid of it is by surgery. Perhaps they didn't get the entire cyst wall out the first time. If you have it drained, the fluid will re-accumulate. It should be able to be done under local anesthesia by a general or plastic surgeon.

Sorry.

I had one, too, and were given a cortisone shot into my wrist which made it bypass away thoroughly and it hasn't ever come back. It sounds like its urgent on a nerve, the significant one (??ahhh senior second right here!) on your hand. Please do not take no for an answer from the physician--! And cnsider getting your thyroid checked, too. I examine someplace this stuff might want to be appropriate each so often. strong success!

may not be the best answer but the lady i work with had the same thing and no money so when it was hurting so bad one day she just could not take it any longer she took a wooden ruller and kept hitting her wrist until it burst. yes i hurt to hit that hard but she said the relief from pain was worth every second of hitting she had done. good luck

Go back to your doc. Ganglions used to be hit with a heavy book to get rid of them, true.

Many old timers slam their wrist with a bible, believe it or not.
I would not advise this go to a good surgeon and him/her take
care of it. Don't me a baby, it's no big deal to have surgery.
I've had 2 carpal tunnels, a gall bladder, elbow, and I'm
having another surgery on Tues.
Life happens.
