Just do something else becos smoking is a habit not an addiction. So lets say, you always smoke after a meal, that's a habit that you have for the longest time, then to stop that craving, its either you do something else after the meal like having a coffee straight after you finish yr meal or going for a walk, talk to someone.. etc... just do something different that what u use to do and day by day, the cravings will go further and further. I have done it and its 5 years now, still consider half way there. To be completely free of it will be about 8-10 years, so I still have a long way to go... give it a try and good luck... don't give in when you need it the most.....

Good on you for quitting :)
Have you tried nicotine gum? That will help. Keep your fingers busy too, because smoking is a habit and your fingers miss having a ciggy there.
Find an online support group, they will have some excellent suggestions :D
If you're in Australia, then call the QUIT line, 13 QUIT.

when the craving drives you up the wall and you just can't take it anymore-drink a glass of water and do a vigorous half hour of exercise or jog around the block.
Good luck and all the best.

Ive not smoked for six years and the thing that kept me off thew smokes is asking yourself why,why would you want to smoke its disgusting not only is it harmfull to you it is also harmfull to others around you and if you have children you don't want your smoke to be harming them
