how is a blind person(from birth) supposed to visualise what colours actually are?

Blind people do see colours in their dreams but they arent to know that yellow is yellow or blue is blue ..

use like I used when i wanted to understand color..

Red is extreme "hot" think red like the suns warmth not like hot pan.

blue is a cold color think ice.
yellow is a warm , like blonde hair.

I ve no clue what yellow looks like but it makes me happy to know its like blonde hair and that i can use the "heat" scale to describe it. it also tells me ice is blue like water in the ocean.

so the blind person will not know the actual color but will have more an understanding.

since the person has never seen colors it is impossible to to explain

No, you can't explain as he or she has no sense of color, intensity etc. Everything is black for them.
