There are many rumors that smoking cigarettes can help offset some diseases. Also smoking can be thereputic. I am looking for some websites or other points of reference that show how smoking can be beneficial is some way. Thanks!

I just noticed that my 2.5 years old son put some play dough inside his nose. Somehow I managed him to sneeze and got a small block of playdough(blue color) out. I cannot see anymore inside and he is playing as usual. Should I go see a doctor now, what else should I do?

I have been anemic off and on my whole life. I have never been able to take medication due to the fact it would turn my stomach and I wouldn't be able to hold down any food so I have resorted to eating foods high in iron. Its worked for me up until this morning.

While commuting to work I passed out on a crowded train. I wasn't moving around or anything. I was just standing and holding on to the pole. This has never happened to me before and I am scared. If it wasn't for the help of the passengers I don't know what might have happened to me. Does anyone know of a quick fix that I may try while at work? I need to get through the day. Please help.

This is a concern being voiced around my workplace (San Diego VA Hospital), especially among the elderly smokers here (lots and lots of them). Most of the people in authority I’ve talked to say no, but some say the benefits outweigh the risks. That sounds like there could be some possibility of a dangerous result from quitting. And two people I’ve known and helped take care of have died from things that hadn’t even been a concern before they quit.

It drives my husband crazy! Quite annoying it is! But I really cant help it! It feels like something is stuck there. Its been like this over the past year or so, but the past two weeks I feel like I have a sore throat, but down a bit farther. Its hard to explain but its making me nervous! I hope its not cancer. I read all the time about people receiving "miner injuries", but surely with all the health and saftey laws, the days of pit props falling on people and coal dust getting in your eyes should be behind us. I read in the paper today about a car crash where the driver had miner injuries. What on earth was he doing driving a car down a pit shaft!!

I flea bombed my basement yesterday and think I inhaled a lot of the spray. Now I have a sore throat and am starting to feel like poo. I am going to see Bob Dylan on Thursday and cant get sick. What can I do to get rid of or put off this possible cold?

My head has been hurtung me through this weekend. My sympotoms include...

pain on the right side all over but mostly at the mid-bottom.
My head hurts when i place my head down looking at my feet.
Irritaded pain it just hurt.. i do not know how to describe it.
Back of my right eye hurts.

And i did not hurt my self.... I been having headaches throught my life and now it worst..
