I just noticed that my 2.5 years old son put some play dough inside his nose. Somehow I managed him to sneeze and got a small block of playdough(blue color) out. I cannot see anymore inside and he is playing as usual. Should I go see a doctor now, what else should I do?

I would say don't worry about it. If you think you've gotten it all out and it's not obstructing his breathing it shouldn't be a problem. The ingredients in Play-Doh are non-toxic.

This is from the official Play-Doh site

PLAY-DOH compound is non-toxic, non-irritating & non-allergenic except as noted: Children who are allergic to wheat gluten may have an allergic reaction to this product.

Call the doctor's office or the emergency room at the local hospital and speak with the nurse. Get a PROFESSIONAL opinion. If there is any in there, it could just be expelled, or it could find its way to a lung, so why take a chance? The phone call is free.

Yes. See a doctor ASAP. If that play dough lodged further up the nasal cavity he may dislodge it down his throat while sleeping. Please don't wait, if possible take him to an emergency room now. Good luck.

Have you used a flashlight? Doctors will almost always tell you to come in. They like the money. With something this simple, you're probably better off double checking it yourself.

Yep, take him to the doctor so they can see if anything is still in there. If left inside the nasal cavity, it can cause an infection.

You may want to have your son's pediatrician check just to make sure it is all out.
One time,my youngest son stuck tic-tacs up his nose...when we had the Dr. check him out, there was still one in there! *sigh*--never a dull moment with kids, huh?!
