My throat has been a little bit scratchy but not hurting at all. What could this be and should I see a doctor?

Unless it becomes painful, I'd say just wait and see. Very sour or "acid-y" foods can cause little swellings like blisters.

Could it be a food allergy? Have you eaten something you've never had before?

Or were you eating something sour? My friend had a similar experience when she ate an entire bag of Sour Patch Kids. The coating on her tongue came right off.

You might want to see a doc to find out what's up.
