Hi there !
"YES"...it does help you to bring down stress ...
1. By keeping you away from the "cause of stress" ...
and also
2. helping you to calm down as a natural body response !
Thats the reason when we ourself get upset ,and almost on the verge of weeping, some sensible people offer you water ! dont

I also write poetry, make a video with a tune that satisfactory describes how I believe or simply listening to the music a few times from time to time singing alongside to it.

No, why should it? Stress is produced by things that stress you, so there is no remedy against it except calming yourself. However, water helps alleviate the symptoms of stress, such as mouth dryness and hot flashes and sweating. Drinking cold water can calm you down significantly, but it doesn't actually make the stress less. Only you can determine what stresses you and what doesn't.
