the drug in afrin and other otc nasal sprays is way more addictive than heroin.i cant believe that this is legal.as a result, i will never be able to breathe properly again and suffer from anxiety and suicidal thoughts.ideally i would like to see this drug (oxymetazoline hcl) outlawed to protect others from the same fate. failing that i would like to see the dispicable manufacturers of this product pay for the dibilitating damage they have done.can anyone help me to find legal counsel? as a result of my afrin addiction and the damage caused i am no longer able to have a normal job and any compensation would be settlement based.

Scratchy throat since Saturday evening (and it is Tuesday night as I write this), and I sound like a chronic smoker. I have a cough, and feel kind of nasueus. Also, and this is the real weird part, I've also been kind of gassy. Like, burping.

I have cough drops (Ricola) and it seems worse when I'm not taking them. Also been taking a bit of cough syrup, and vitamins.

The problem is, I live in a dorm, and so the health clinic on campus will only say "Sorry, you live in a dorm, you are gonna get sick." The clinic really does suck. Is there anything you guys recomend? Also, I only live a couple hours from home, and am wondering if I should go home to talk to my doctor.

The first time was in the shower, the water was really hot, and he had a space heater on also.
The second time he was at school rehearsing for a winter concert, it was really hot in the room, he was doing alot of moving around. He only passes out for about 10 seconds, and he is completely normal afterwards. These are the only 2 episodes. After the first time, we took him to the doctor and they ran blood work, cat scans, heart monitors, chest exray, and even a pediatric cardiologists looked at him, and everything has come back normal. Does anyone have any helpful thoughts?

Okay, so my friend has had a really bad headache for the past several days. It has been coming and going, and lasts through the night. She is convinced she has a brain tumor. The pain is throught her head, meaning not just the front or not just the back. She has been taking tylenol several times during the day, but it usually doesn't help. Sometimes it even makes her feel a little bit dizzy.

p.s. She is a high school student and it does not have anything to do with her menstrual cycle.

This is a serious question. Jokes nor insults will not be appreciated nor accepted. Respectively, my wife and I take several different prescription medications for medical conditions. With all prescription medications, there are side affects. Some can be dealt with on a daily basis, while others are less than acceptable. My wife and I have found that a couple of our respective medications have caused decreased libido, sexual response and erectile dysfunction. This has become quite unpleasant for both of us. We talked about it and I asked our doctor for a prescription for Cialis. Oh, it works, however there is no such thing as "lightning in a bottle". You have to be in a state of sexual arousal in order for the medication to work and it doesn't work right away. Sometimes, you don't want to go through a giant production number to make love to your significant other. What can my wife and I do to boost our sex life? Please help us. Thanking you in advance.

I have Acuvue 2 Soft Conact Lenses. I wear them only during the day...and about 6-8 hours into wearing them, pink eye develops. This pink eye is unusual though - there is no burning or it does not hurt. It's just really red and there is some discharge.

I've had a few boyfriends and whenever I'd spend the night and wake up the next day, they smelled really weird. I have noticed most guys smell funny when they get up in the morning. Granted, most people probably don't smell awesome, but guys' scents seem to be stronger and similar. What is this? Testosterone? Oil?
