the drug in afrin and other otc nasal sprays is way more addictive than heroin.i cant believe that this is legal.as a result, i will never be able to breathe properly again and suffer from anxiety and suicidal thoughts.ideally i would like to see this drug (oxymetazoline hcl) outlawed to protect others from the same fate. failing that i would like to see the dispicable manufacturers of this product pay for the dibilitating damage they have done.can anyone help me to find legal counsel? as a result of my afrin addiction and the damage caused i am no longer able to have a normal job and any compensation would be settlement based.

Sounds like you took a lot of this stuff...way too much. I sure it says on the label to only use for so many times or days etc. Even Tylennol can cause liver damage if you take too much of it. Try this site I found it's a blog about drugs where people discuss their problems. Do a post here and see what happens.

compensation because you chose to do this to yourself...give me a break..people like you are the ones who cause the problems for everyone else...blame whomever and whatever you can...grow up...why dont you go to some restaurant and spill some coffee on yourself and sue cause it was too hot..oh wait that was already done by someone...if you do not like an answer given do not e-mail the person, like you just did to me,you ask a question you're gonna get answers and if you do not like what you read then too bad..i am not here to debate the issue of what a horrible drug this might or might not be and i do not care what european countries have banned it,listed it as a controlled substance etc...read the lable and im sure it says how often to use it,and for how long and not to for more then so many days without talking to your doctor etc
