Get an x-ray of your full spine by a chiropractor, osteopath, or last resort a medical doctor. If your Cobb's Angle or lateral deviation angle(s) is/are less than 20 degrees, you will not be braced, only monitored in case the curvature worsens.

Is easy to pick out... if you have a shoulder lower on one side... hip high on one side.. navel off center... tail bone elevated.. lots of signs which are very obvious.. also if the head tends to lean to the side.. All this taking place just to keep your head directly above your feet. The only exception would be a congenital factor. Over half of the population has this to some degree. depending on the differential of the leg lengths. That is where it starts.

Bending over to determine scoliosis is the least accurate method of making this determination. Is an antiquated method.

Most people have a mild degree of scoliosis. It can be determined by an x ray. A chiroprator or your G.P can determine if it is a problem.

I found out I had scoliosis when I was in highschool. These health profesionals came to our school to test for it. You bend over and they look at your spine and mine was crooked.
