There are 2 directions to think here.. First would be the vertigo.. this could indicate a chronic problem which can be aggravated by the stress of being tired. Is usually connected to the area of the base of the skull. It involves one of the cranial nerves which you have presented as the otic nerve.

Secondly, the tiredness could be from assimilation of your foods, primarily the proteins. I would presume, your age to be in the mid thirties..a time when some changes are taking place in your system. You may find relief by including by including papaya in your dietary.. perhaps even going as far as supplemental amino acids..

Since diabetes has been ruled out, it may be advisable to visit your local doctor of Chiropractic..Vertigo is a common presenting acute symptom. It generally responds with one treatment.. but the chronic condition may require more treatments..

A very sick mama dog is an extremely stressful situation. And I understand your anger at some of the answers that you received. It is normal for you to want to vent back to these folks some of your anger and frustration. So, try to remain calm and keep your focus on your dog & pups. Don't let this cloud your true goal - a healthy dog. And yes, I would love to know this outcome. Kudos to you for your quick action in caring for 7 pups! It isn't easy! I wish that more people would realize that there are situations that stump even the best of vets. While the calicum issue is the most common with these symptoms, it is not the only cause. And your dedication to this dog and her pups is very, very admirable. So, you know that you are responding to this crisis in the best manner possible. You are doing all you can do in an extremely difficult situation. Let God sort out the rest. Peace

Do you get restful sleep? I used to fall asleep during the day, during movies, watching the tube... It was bad. I had sleep apnea. Did your doc suggest anything about sleep at all? Other than that, you stressed about anything?

It could be vertigo. I had that once. You feel like the room is spinning. You can hardly sit up. It's horrible isn't it? You should ask your doctor.

Could you be pregnant? Go back to your doc and talk to him more about this.
