Depends on how sick he is. Give him some nice chicken soup, and send him some flowers or a card. If he's really sick, just let him know that you are there to support him and show him that you love him.
Laughter is also a great medicine no matter how sick he is.

Do you mean physically or psychology? Either way do not diagnose him yourself! Believe it or not, the holidays can be a challenge for many people especially the elderly. Talk to your father and write down the things that are bothering him. Make him comfortable about discussing his heath issues and call an advice nurse together. If he is a little depressed find him activities to do so that he won’t be lonely during the holiday season. Some parents don’t want to worry their children with their financial woes. If that is, sit down with him and make a budget that will fit him for the season.
