That I have a cracked disc in my neck and 2 prolapsed discs. The odds are not good if they operate, infact it could make things worse, a whole lot worse, What would you do? let them operate and hope for the best, or put up with the pain, its bearable and I can still move around, obviously I have worse days than others. The thought of not being able to move terrifies me, and thats how I may wake up after the op. My friends tell me that any chance is better than none. Thanks to all who answer. xx

Do you think someone who is a recovering drug addict will always look like an addict?
Have you ever met one that used drugs heavy and quit, and looks like they've never used?
Do they keep the signs of addiction the rest of their lives?

Whats the link? My second eldest daughter is in the "Miss Auckland" beauty contest & the charity they are raising money for is the "New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation" You can help them both at the same time by visiting the site - www.missauckland.co.nz & vote for my daughter Vicky - she is "miss sefton construction". You can vote once every 24 hours & if you feel so inclined you have the oportunity to make a donation to the foundation. So for all you sceptics out there you can see that beauty contests aren't just for the vain but also are there to help people.
