Ther are over 40 "parts" of the Code of Federal Regulations that OSHA is charged with enforcing. Most of them have a section 27.

The two most common parts are 1910, General Industry, and 1926 Construction.

In General Industry standards section 27 refers to Fixed Ladders.

In the Construction standards section 27 refers to on site sanitaion.

Section 27 of the "Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970" refers to the gurantee of workmen's compensation and requiring it for all employers.
