A couple weeks ago I was stung 3 times on the ankles by fire ants. Within a day my ankles swelled up so bad that you could no longer see any of the bones in my feet or ankles. The blisters were as wide as dimes, and the skin was so tight that if I moved my feet it would pop the blisters. The blisters would immediately refill as soon as they had popped. Now that the swelling has gone down I have 3 bruises the size of a half dollar in each of the places I was stung. I had been stung by fire ants before, but have never had a reaction at all like this. What does it mean? Should I go to the doctor for it?

I'd like to donate blood tomorrow because I missed that last blood drive and donating blood is my favorite thing to do...the thing is today I have a bug (I'm pretty sure It's a 24 hour thing). Is it safe to donate blood if you've been sick? I'm just barley at the weight limit (I may be a few pounds under). I've donated blood before and I was fine (I had to move slowly so as not to get dizzy, but it's worth it, ya know). So basically my question is.... is it safe for me to donate blood tomorrow?

My office where I work is always so very cold. The temperature is kept to @ least 70 degrees or less.
I find myself in the am dozzing out, and try terribly hard to not by eating sugar, and drinking coca cola.
I have found that I can no longer drink coffee, eat any type of product that contains starch. I crash.
A little place around here sells what they call, capachillo's and they use to work, and found out yesterday, that I crashed terribly.
After eating lunch I am finding out that the tiredness is so very overwhelming, and I do not know that to do anymore. I am in terriable fear of loosing my job, and can not afford to have that happen. Any suggestiongs.
I am unable to leave my station to even go for a walk, and am what you would call chained to my area for 8 hours a day. I do get a lunch, and find myself eating @ my area, which I am still answering phones.
What to do. Help!!!!
I take vitamins, supplements, etc.

I was a little disturbed today because I heard that doctors no longer have to take the Hippocratic Oath

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hippocratic_Oath

It seems that compensation culture has left medical practitioners open to be sued if they try to treat but fail, therefore an oath which says a person who practices medicine has a moral obligation to help those in need regardless of politics, religion or creed has been lost.

In a world that has lost so much to cultural differences I think it is sad that you can no longer rely on a doctor to help you and that an oath that has been around since the time of ancient Greece has been removed for the worst of reasons.

I would like to see doctors and nurses free from the fear of prosecution for trying to help and the Hippocratic Oath reinstated.
What are your thoughts?

OK, so I went to see my doctor a month ago and he basically told me that my oxygen level is really low and that I failed my breathing test. He showed me a chart of how I should be breathing. For the average healthy person there was a huge peak and I pretty much flat lined it. Anyway, I completely dismissed the oxygen thing until now. Yesterday my ring finger felt numb and my nails turned blue-ish purple, so I left school early and went home, I felt really tired but didn't go to sleep until about 9. My family won't be able to get my medicine until Friday and my left hand is turning purple again. I don't want to leave school again but I don't know what else to do either. Help . . .

A bunch of pharmacies in my area (in the US), including Rite Aid and CVS have "drive through" windows that are open late or 24 hours. What can one buy there? Prescription drugs? OTC medicines? Laundry Detergents? Tissues? Candy? All of the above? Just being curious. Thanks.
