Hi,
The implant is called the Naltrexone Implant, It's put under the skin near your hip. After the procedure is done it usually lasts for about 90 days, then wears off. It doesn't reduce the craving for drugs, it blocks the "high" that drugs give you, so if you took heroin it would have little or no effect on you.

i know some one in south africa who takes pills that you make very sick if you try and drink alcohol,but never heard of an implant against drugs.if you are doing drugs ,why dont you get some help to detox ,it might seem like a nightmare ,but you can get over it.i never took drugs ,its all the stories i have learned over the years.i hope you will take some advise from me without been pushy.you need help.good luck.think of every new tomorrow as a new day by staying clean.from mikhal in israel.

I've never heard of one,but there is medication for alcoholics that makes them violently ill when they drink.
