My office where I work is always so very cold. The temperature is kept to @ least 70 degrees or less.
I find myself in the am dozzing out, and try terribly hard to not by eating sugar, and drinking coca cola.
I have found that I can no longer drink coffee, eat any type of product that contains starch. I crash.
A little place around here sells what they call, capachillo's and they use to work, and found out yesterday, that I crashed terribly.
After eating lunch I am finding out that the tiredness is so very overwhelming, and I do not know that to do anymore. I am in terriable fear of loosing my job, and can not afford to have that happen. Any suggestiongs.
I am unable to leave my station to even go for a walk, and am what you would call chained to my area for 8 hours a day. I do get a lunch, and find myself eating @ my area, which I am still answering phones.
What to do. Help!!!!
I take vitamins, supplements, etc.

I think you should get a check-up and have your blood levels drawn. You might have a low blood count , which can cause tired feelings,no matter how many vitamins you take. I would also suggest more fruits and vegetables in your diet, lastly you shouldn't eliminate all starch from your diet. I believe if you seek the help of a dietitian, nutritionist or any information with the diet pyramid it would help you. Don't forget the 8 glasses of water daily. I would mention my health issues with your employer. I think they will be sympathetic to your problem and will give you more breaks to collect yourself during the day. Please leave your work area during lunch, the walk will do you good. Good Luck.

The first thing you have to do is ease up on the sugar, and the caffeine, even some of the supplements. They are making you crash, like you said, and know. Believe it or not they did a study that I have saw on Dateline, 60 Minutes, and read about on the Internet that adults should take naps. They said that we function better just like children if we take a nap. I know you are thinking, look chick didn't you read that I am tied to my desk for eight hours and even answer during my lunch! Well my answer to that is by law every eight hour shift worked by a tax paying citizen is mandated to a 1 hour lunch as well as 15 minute breaks. If you possibly have an hour lunch, you should bring your lunch to work and eat while you are working, and then when your lunch break comes, you send your calls to voice mail cut the ring volume low, set your alarm clock, and recline at your desk, or if the weather permits, go sit in your car and rest. With ten minutes left go to the bathroom, throw a little water on your face, grab something to drink, and the rest of your day will go so much better. Try to take your lunch in the afternoon, the later the better, because your sub-conscience will know that the nap is coming you will see the tiredness disappear to occasional yawns.

If you start your day tired, then I suspect the problem may be sleep apnea and you should talk to your doctor about a sleep study to determine if you have it.
Most people crash after having too much sugar or caffiene, you may want to go with high protien food in the morning, complex carbs for lunch and a lite dinner.

I would suggest taking a walk before you come to work and taking a walk at lunch time. It will get your blood flowing and you will feel more energized. :)
Also, try to stay interested in your job. If you hate your job, no matter what you do, it would be hard to stay awake. ;)
