I have a hump on the back of my neck. It is significant. I went to a chiropractor who said he would not treat me, until I went to the medical doctor and possibly diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia. The hump is hard, I am overweight, I have a feeling it is part of the hump, too. Whenever I rub it, it is always tense and sore. What to do? I am only asking for advice from people who know about this. Serious replies only. All other replies will be thumbs down, and possibly reported as abuse. I need serious answers and I thank you...

I just saw last night's episode of A & E's Intervention "Christy" (very disturbing) & it reminded me of a girl I used to work with who took large amounts of Adderall daily. I was wondering what the difference was between someone addicted to meth and someone addicted to adderall? Are the short and long term side effects the same? Are the dangers similar? Why does it cause open sores? From the picking they do when all jacked up?

I'm 18 years old and will soon be getting a job. (shut up, I know I'm a little late :)) I know that most places keep people my age until way past closing time. My sister gets home at midnight. Well, I am a full time college student and I will be getting up between 5:30 and 6:30am every day. It takes me a while to get ready for bed and get ready in the morning. A full night's sleep is 8 hours, but in today's world, this is clearly not possible. So, how little sleep can I get away with? How much sleep can I get to still stay healthy? I'm very worried.

hi, i don't know what to do about this situation i'm in!
i have surgery on tuesday, tomorrow.. early in the morning for a fibroid on my uterus. im supposed to be drinking 4 liters of this stuff to cleanse my system, but every time i try and drink it i throw up. any suggestions? should i just take a laxative instead?

i know it's gross, but the doctors office is closed and i don't want to call this an "emergency", but wtf do i do!!!!!??

Last week I woke up with a pain in my right knee. It's still kind of swollen and it hurts to walk up stairs. It pops and creaks when I bend it and when I'm going up stairs. I can't see an ortho doctor until the middle of next month. Any ideas about what could have caused this? It came out of no where! Any good ways to ease the pain and swelling? I'm afraid to get back on the treadmill until I know for sure what's going on. Thanks so much :0)

This kid in my neighborhood makes a point of smoking while he's walking down the street. He's probably about 10 years old. I do not know his parents, so I don't know if they are OK with it. Should I just ignore his behavior, or should I say something?

I have been having problems to sleep lately. I think that is b/c of bills. But someone told me that it's b/c I am anxious. I dont feel like I need to sleep, I stay till about 2am on the internet, and then I wake up around 6:45am w/o any problems. But during my sleep I wake up and turn and turn, and it's hard to get some deep sleep. I work 40hrs a week and go to school but it seems like I dont need to rest. I just want to know if some of you have experienced this feeling and how took care of it. B/c I know I need to rest, but my body just doesn't feel like I need any sleep.
Help, plz...
