I just recently found out that my best friend is suicidal. She told me not to tell anyone but that only lasted a few minutes until my boyfriend called. I told him and my mom and we've said everything we can think of. I'm running out of ideas and don't want anything to happen to her. I've told her if she does anything else then I'm calling her mom. She said she'd hate me forever if I did but I don't care. I'd rather her be safe again than be her friend. Does anyone have any ways I can help her??

I have been sniffing airplane glue for a couple of months now, and I was wondering if it was bad for you. I started sniffing it because I was actually building model airplanes and enjoyed the smell. Now I just stare at the intricate little pieces, sniff the glue for hours and sometimes I wake up with propellers and fuselages glued to my face.

Kind of a silly question but if your property manager refuses to fix your apartment do you really have to pay rent especially when it is causeing health problems with yourself and your children? We have black mold growing in our water heater closet, under the carpet, and in the walls, and she just spray painted over the walls, do I seriously have to pay her when the problem has not been fixed?

tend to have girls other than boys? I have a couple friends and have seemed to noticed that the ones with big breast or hips have girls while the ones that don't have much of anything always have boys. I understand it is the male sperm to predict the x or y gene. But im wondering if there is some kind of link in the gene make up.

I cant get medicaid, or s.s.i either. I have to meet a spend down of 1200 to get medicaid, and that is month to month. s.s.i. wont give me any insurance because I dont have enough seizures! Though I have been having more seizures recently. I have had a lawyer to get s.s.i. and that didnt work! So how am I suppose to get insurance? These meds are expensive! Thanks for all the answers! :)

I've been told by people that though I am tall for my age, I tend to slouch a little bit instead of standing straight, and because of my height, it's more noticeable.

At any rate, I was wondering, what are somethings you can do to improve your posture?

I've been told, also, that sleeping on a hard, straight surface (i.e. the floor) also helps your back. Is this true?

A bit of history to help. My husband is overweight and I seemed to try everything to get him to lose the weight. I buy and cook healthier dinners. I don't buy junk food. I bought him a gym membership and he doesn't use it. Sometimes he will get on a running kick and run everyday but this doesn't last long. When he does get motivavted he will lose about 10-20 pounds easy then he platoes and gives up. He works as a general manager at Applebees so I am sure he doesn't eat too well at work. But there is nothing I can do about that. The problem is when he is around food he has to eat it. When he stops for gas he will by sodas and junkfood. He did stuggle with bulimia in college. He doesn't purge any more but he sure does binge when he's stressed. I also tried playing the do it for our daughter card. That doesn't work. Is there anything else I can do? He has no will power. I am worried that he will have heart problems and develop diabetes. He will be 29 next week.

I don't live by the bottle, but I almost forgot to embrace life being completely sober without smokes, caffiene, booze, pills etc. Once upon a time, I was a child that only relied on my own natural power and potential to get me through the day. Now at 27, I must consume 3 cups of coffee to wake up, and I must throw down close to a 6 pack to wind down at the end of the day. How do I get back to the pure form that I once was, before I started becoming relient off of so many other things than a well-balanced diet and my bodies natural potential?

Has anyone used Laser Treatment for canker sores? What is the price and is it done at doctor office or dentist? I'm considering it after i try a few other products to see if they work.I'm trying out CankerMelts and Canker Covers first. I'm sick of this s**t. I get canker sores every 3-4 months. A mouthful of the son of a b****s I'm sorry for the language but i know a lot of you canker sore sufferers can feel my pain. My daughter three years old, and diabetic. She usually has about 3-6 insulin injections a day. I hold her facing me, with her legs around my hips, then pin her arms with mine so I can give her the injections. She is still small enough that I only give them in her legs and hips. I was wondering if anyone else has a child that recieves injectons, and how do they position the child to do so? My method seems to be working fine, but when she goes to daycare or school the person giving the injecton may not feel comfortable doing it the same. This is why I ask.
