I cant get medicaid, or s.s.i either. I have to meet a spend down of 1200 to get medicaid, and that is month to month. s.s.i. wont give me any insurance because I dont have enough seizures! Though I have been having more seizures recently. I have had a lawyer to get s.s.i. and that didnt work! So how am I suppose to get insurance? These meds are expensive! Thanks for all the answers! :)

I just bought health insurance for my granddaughter at this site:

It gave me 5 companies to purchase from. I was able to choose one where the pediatrician well baby visits are only $10 and there's a deductible of $1000 for the rest. Most of her medical bills are for well baby visits. Cost $70 per month.
Also, do you belong to any professional organizations? You can frequently get health insurance at group rates from them.

call your local welfare office and see if they can help? im on gateway now myself, my sis has access and my moms cot medicare and shes on s.s.i. took her 3 years and a lawyer to get her s.s.i. and my friend down the road fought for 4 years with a lawyer for his and i think he has medicare too
