Sometimes it's really hard to settle down and relax after a busy day. Some things that have helped me are:

Having the bedroom quiet and comfortably cool. Using a fan to make "white noise" and a gentle breeze in the room (not directly on me).
A cup of warm milk or chamomile tea before bed.
Progressive relaxation exercises (starting at either the head or the toes, and progressively relaxing each muscle group).
Visualizing a quiet, relaxing place where I'd like to be. Focusing on the details of it.
Focusing on my breathing. Breathing as if I were asleep ("in...out...rest...in...out...rest...") .

Hope some of these help you.

If you are taking alot of caffein stuff, you should stop. I read that drinking honey water could help falling asleep or try warm milk before bed, and listen to shooting music/sounds/white noise.

Someone taught me once... when you lay down to sleep .. try to run through what you did that day in as detail as possible from the moment you wake up that day... that always bore me out and I usually fell asleep shortly.

If problem persists, you should go see a doctor to find out what's going on.

It could be a bunch of things, stress, music stuck in your head or others. But the later of the 2 definites is what keeps me awake most of the time when I can't go to sleep. I listen to other music besides what's stuck in my head, normally that helps.

It could also be the position you sleep in, like I always sleep on my side and if I have my legs at a weird angle trying to get more comfortable I can't go to sleep. It could be many factors, just try to figure it out and then ask a question about how to resolve that specific thing.

Nothing...same problem here. Try doing some exercise at 7-8 for a good hour or so...usually helps.

try taking a warm shower or bath before bed, use lavender, it will help calm your body and mind...try laying with a pillow in between your legs, or even try seeing a doctor for some temp. sleeping pills...i mean you could try tylenol or advil PM, but they could become adictive
