I have been nauseated for about 3 months. In the last 2 I've lost 22 lbs. I always feel kinda icky, but I really get nauseated after I eat. Sometimes I get so bad I have to throw up. Sometimes the throwing up gets so bad I have to go to the hospital. I have been to my doctor, he has done TONS of blood work, can't figure out why. I am not pregnant, I don't have aids, hepatitis, organ damage, an auto immune disease, diabetes and everything else they tested for. It is not related to any medication I take, we've stopped and started everything. We thought it was related to diabetes because its worse after I eat anything or drink something sugary. Every so often after throwing up for hours, my blood sugar will be 120 at most. But most of the time, its under 100. And I've done the glucose tolerance test a bunch of times all negative. If you have any ideas, please let me know. I'd like to be able to eat again and stop losing so much weight... Thanks!

Recently someone decided that it would be fun to poke mockery (on Yahoo Answers) of the death of our son, Zachary that we tragically lost on Aug. 2, 2006 (second trimester loss), to see the post go here http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

I thought it would be important to post what to say to someone who has endured the pain of a miscarriage..

Things you should say
Do call her and tell her you are sorry for her loss.
Do send her a card or flowers to show you care
Do let her talk as much as she needs to or wants to.
Do give her a hug to let her know you care.
Do offer to help with housework, babysitting or other things that she may not feel up to doing.
Do acknowledge her baby.
It is okay to say I don’t know what to say or I don’t know how to help.
Do call and check up on her. The pain does not go away in a couple days.

So with that posted what else do you think would be appropiate?

Mel

. . . in terms of detriment to health. My friend says cigars are pure tobacco w/o all the harmful chemicals found in cigarettes. I always thought cigars would be more dangerous to your health, as they seem "concentrated." Anyone know?

As women go to work as much as men, will their average life span equalize with the men? I'm talking about stress related deaths, which is a hefty percentage of death reasons...

I need to do a 10 page research paper for my English Composition class, and I chose to do Teens and Substance Abuse, but that seems waaay too general. So, I think I may change it to all about one drug.. but I don't know which one. I'm thinking methamphetamine because (at least I think this is right) it is one of the most widely used and deadliest drugs in the United States today.

What do you think would be the best to do my report on? What drug would you want to know more about? Why?

I am in my early 30s but I have been suffering from weird memory lapses since my mid 20s. I am sure I am a bit young for alzheimers. At first it was just little things I would forget. Like one day I walked up to the atm and suddenly couldn't remember a pin number I'd used for 3 years . The names of old school chums, phone numbers, things like that just started to disappear. But now, I have huge blocks of time I can't remember. I can't remember potty training my kids. A friend asked me advice for her kid, and I just can't even remember doing it at all! I can't remember all the places I've lived. My memory blanks are getting big. I am not sure if I might have a medical problem, like a brain tumor, or a psychological problem that is causing this. I do suffer from depression at times. I heard depression causes memory loss...but to this magnitude? might it be the meds? is it a mental issue or a medical one? Which should I see- a neurologist or a psychiatrist?

Okay so there's something on the underside of my thigh, just found it this morning after I took a shower. It was kind of bleeding, it looked like a mole or something maybe, but it was red and didn't hurt or anything when I touched it. I put a bandaid on it but I have no clue what it could be.
