No, there is no risk of radiation from satellite dishes. Satellite dishes work by bouncing the very weak radio waves coming down from the sky and concentrating them into the LNBF which is the round thing at the end of the pole. That LNBF then converts these weak radio waves to a lower frequency, amplifies them to make them stronger, and sends them down the shielded cable to your satellite receiver.

Incidentally, even if the LNBF is directly in line with your window there would not be a problem (however there would not be a signal, either, since your house is in the way).

So just enjoy your satellite television.

Of course, you do. What you need to do is wrap aluminum foil around your head, face, and neck. Then put two straws into your nose through the aluminum foil. Get the long straws, ones that will run out your nose and into your neighbors yard, so that you can breathe in fresh unexposed air from his yard. Every ten days, at midnight, you must hug your neighbors tree, and say, "I love trees 3,210 times within one hour. It is a good idea to line your roof with copper, too. If you need any more help contact Tom Cruise and your local Scientology office to clean the radiation out of your head.

if you can see radiation (not counting solar radiation) you wouldnt be able to see anything at all. from fm radios with different frequencies, telephone lines, cellphone signals, etc etc.

the concern is if you are on the transmitter side. where the signal strength is strongest...
