How long does the benefit of cataract surgery last? Will you need to have it done again in a few years?

Result is permanent. Very rarely "after cataract" is caused. Another surgery corrects it.

Modern cataract surgery is permanent. It is almost impossible to get it again after surgery.The cure is permanent but eyesight may get affected by other unrelated diseases.
