depends on the work they do. If their job if for night time they adjust their routine so that they take full sleep too.. When I had night shift I also take 7am - 3pm sleep and stay awaked for whole night..

i have mental problems, thats why i do it, that i dont really like being around other people so this way i can just sit alone for a few hours and then when everyone goes to sleep i can do whatever.

MY excuse is I work from 6pm until 8am so that's why I sleep from 9am to 3pm...

Because we do not all have the same body clock (internally) and that is why so many can work nights and other's cannot.

delayed sleep phase syndrome....when people go to sleep later than desired and sleep later....or they could just have a circadian rythm disorder triggered by poor sleep hygiene. Or lucky like me and get to work 3rd shift watching people sleep for a living.

Just certain peoples circadian rhythms(the body's internal clock). It is perfectly normal.
