As women go to work as much as men, will their average life span equalize with the men? I'm talking about stress related deaths, which is a hefty percentage of death reasons...

What you are assuming is that men have historically worked longer and/or harder. This has never been the case. Women have always worked longer and harder (though traditionally not for pay) and, as if that wasn't enough, we have had to endure child birth.
Because of this, women are the stronger of the species. Also, women tend to handle stress better, whether from nature or nurture, I do not know. It is my opinion, however, that this is cultural. As women are "allowed" to cry, and crying is the body's way of releasing stress, and thereby a healthier alternative.

Interesting point. Probably if they live the same lifestyle they will start dying younger. It depends on other factors too though like whether they take to smoking and drinking to releave their stress. I'll keep it in mind and answer properly in about 30 years time.

yep i think so as this one is already worn out and men can turn off i dont know how but women cant seem to do that,it used to be the mans job to catch dinner and woman stayed home and looked after the kids ,cave men must have been reall sexy for our race to survive,cos i hate a lazy man ,he would hunt then lay with his woman ,how hard is that now they go to work ,same as us and we still have to get the shopping pay the bills look after the kids do the garden decorate ,ect whilst they watch tv ,so we will either die before them as they have worn us out or we will out live them as we will be fitter,some men work hard dont get me wrong as some woman are very lazy but thats the way it go ,but as for me i seem to do the lot ,i get up a 6am go to bed at 12 midnight sit on here having a coffe and then get on with something else ,but i cant really moan as my man builds boats so he do work hard ,but if he had a office job and wanted me to cook tea every night there would be a row ,i dread tothink how many miles i walk each day as im always running around ,i have to drive 52 miles aday just to get my son to work,but at the end of the day i cant turn off as i havent had time to relax ,i recon the old ticker will give out any day now ,it cant take much more surly.

It is probably the testosterone in the males body that ages it more than women.
