I have been attempting to meditate on a daily basis but can never seem to completely clear my mind and relax. It constantly wanders. I've tried having a focal point and set-up a specific area and an alter without any success of concentration. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Thank you!

it all happens to me suddenly .i dont know why .due to this fear factor , suddenly my heart beat raises and to the extent my eyes turn red and turn sticky and i fail to give an eye contact to anyone and next i dont believe myself that if then i open my mouth ,the effect is stammering and a crying voice. this is never me before .but its already a year till now i am terribly suffering with this disorder or what i dont know.

Can this be true? I.E I have had panic attacks and anxiety for a while and like many have searched the net etc for a cure. My doctor has told me that this is where 90% of people go wrong. They are better accepting they have it and forget about it rather than searching the net for cures etc, she also said that this can lead to other problems, I.E your sitting reading other peoples symptoms etc you can actually bring them on yourself.

Can all this be true??

My brother 27 is diagnosed with bipolar disease. Just before his arrest we were trying to get him back into a mental health institution so that he would have his medicine on a regular basis. He was homeless.

He has been held for charges of a pedophilic nature. He admits to touching the children (2).

We can't afford a lawyer and the gov't appointed ones refuse to show in court.

My question what are our options to get him out and the steps needed to rehabilitate him

I started Wellbutrin SR 3 days ago and the past two nights I've woke up at least 5 times and felt weird, almost like I'd been taking powerful cold medicine or something. Is this a common side effect and will it go away? Only answer if you actually know please.

Sometimes it's like I have to put conditions on things, for example:
1. If I touch the wall... this will happen
2. If I dont' do this, that wiill happen.
3. If that person doesn't look at me in 5 seconds, this will hapen.

And it can be anything from I'll get a cold as the condition, or worse.
I only experience this every now and then, and not to the extreme of having to do something over and over, But i bugs me that when this happens (usually in times of stress), I find myself saying this.

What do you think?

Do you think of causality.why do girls affect us when they dress sexy and when they look lovely.Do you think not loving these women is impossible and we are out of control.Do you think there is no escaping from the nature of women. Why can't you control our mind and senses why do we think about whom we love all the time. Are men forever slaves to women in love, sex and lust.Is there a way to escape from this causality of women

For 5 years, I've been experiencing flashbacks of a awful incident at school year 8, July 2001. I was in the girl's changing room for PE. The girls weren't getting dressed, they were being stupid .For some reason I didn't get changed, just kinda got involved in what was going on. Ten minutes later, a female teacher came in and was extremely angry. She was screaming at the girls, hey why aren't u all dressed?!!!

She asked each girl are they dressed, they said yes. When she came to me and said, Are you dressed? I said: "I was going to". Then she suddenly screamed: WELL HURRY UUPPPPP!!! EVERYBODY ELSE IS DRESSED!!!! WHAT HAVE U BEEN DOING ALL THIS TIME YOU YOU YOU... FAT ASS!!!!" (ok I was overweight in year 8, but not overweight anymore).

It was not just what she said that killed me, but the intensity and loudness of her voice and it cut like a knife. I'm very scared of that teacher. I'm not even at school anymore. I'm in 2nd year of uni, yet I can't stop thinking about it.

I have been taking this for 8 days. I take .25 (half a tablet at night). But I am so tired during the day and do not want to get addicted and my short term crisis is over. Last night, I took half of the .25 tablet (.125) and I could not sleep. I am afraid to quit cold turkey from what I have read but have not been taking it that long either and don't want to keep taking it. how do I do this? Do I really need to taper after only 8 days? Can I take trazadone to help me sleep tonight?

I am going to an herbal doctor and herbal psychiatrist who say the American Pychiatric Association is a scam. Why do they give brain medicine to children- all kids are crazy? Why do they give antidepressants to anorexics? If it takes 4-6 weeks, why don't they give them family and dietary counseling?

I had a child 18 months ago, and then another one 4 months ago and now i have the craziest worries that never go away, at first i thought it was ocd, but i noticed the more i tried to ignore the worries, the worse they got, it gets so bad that sometimes i feel like my head is spinning and is ready to pop, i get military medical treatment and they always make me feel really uncomfortable like i am a bothersome to them since i am just a spouse, we cant afford civilian doctors, but this problem is really bad, there have been days i couldnt even leave my bedroom and when i told my ob when i had my post partum check up, she kinda clammed up and told me to talk to a mental health person, are there any natural ways to battle anxiety?? i dont want to talk to a doctor, i just want to feel better
