Interview some therapists on the phone and find one who's experienced treating OCD. Be honest about your symptoms. You may need to see a psychiatrist for meds too.

There's a wonderful Yahoo! email list for parents of OCD kids called ocdandparenting. Especially if you're a teen you might write to them. I wasn't able to find any groups that seem to have as much activity for adults. This group also has experts as well as parents who answer questions, and they're extremely knowledgeable.

the most accurate way to get tested for any psychological diagnosis is to make an appointment with a Psycholigist who has a PHD these docs have the training and testing modules to accurately diagnose not only OCD but any other underlying disorder.

you yourself are your own best psychologist

so do you do things compulsiviley then you have ocd in my opinion
