Ever since 5th grade (I'm twelve), I've been experiencing panic attacks whenever I got anxious, excited, or nervous. It's getting really annoying and humiliating for me. I would get a panic attack just from watching tv sometimes. I don't want to take pills or any sort of medication. (I already have to take allergy medication every single day) Any tips on relieving stress and anxiety? Thanks.

What are the specifics of your button related fear? Certain kinds? Do they smell? Any idea why you have said phobia? Are you afraid of touching buttons? What do you do when you come in contact with a button? How do you avoid contact with buttons?

gone to counseling and if so, what was your reason and did it help you any? I did a couple times and it helped me - real bad fears (after same house struck by lightning twice) and through panic disorder (long over thank goodness). I mean the counseling doesn't get rid of the problems at hand but at the same time helps you cope with what you are dealing with - I truly believe this. I was pretty receptive to it too though. I know of others it helped too.

This is kind of weird but im sure someone else has thought of this. I really dont care for my nose and dont want it nomore. Everytime I see a picture of a skull I wonder how much the part without the nose looks so different and so cool. How can I convince a doctor to do this for me? Has anyone else done this before?

Well, I Do not often post questions, so I Would appreciate some serious responses, Yahoo Answers has always been helpful in the past and I'm sure I Can't be the only one with this problem

I Have been afflicted with minute muscle 'twitches' as I call them because I don't know how else to describe them. They are rarely visible but I can feel them at the sides of my nose when i hold it, over the bridge of the nose and all down the sides (effectively all over the surface of the nose really). It is driving me insane, I can't concentrate for the twitches - they are not on and off - they are constant, It feels as if the surface of my nose is crawling with tiny insects, and the skin is rising and falling (this is actually the case when I place my finger closely over it) The best way I can describe the twitches, is like a pulse all over my nose - It is getting to the point where I can no longer concentrate on reading or anything - What could it be? and Will my doctor even care?

My child has just turned 3 years old and the doctors said that he is gifted yet has a mild version of OCD.. My question is he only gets REALLY bad when my husband is deployed..and seems to ease off when he is home. Can OCD be "seasonal"? Do any of you have experience with this? Does OCD ever go away?

I've already tried Prozac at 60 mg, which worked pretty remarkably for a week but then "pooped-out" and stopped working, and Wellbutrin at 200 mg to no results whatsoever. What is the most effective antidepressant out there? In addition to what would be most helpful to me, I'd be interested in the "general" result as well, if this is known.

Yesterday while i was chilling with some of my friends i noticed a mentally ill (retarded) person standing by and i was observing him. While i was observing him i noticed that he looked very out of it, like wondering and confused? i dont know. I was wondering how do they think? what goes on in their minds? do they think as normal people do?

When they look in the mirror and see themselfs, do they notice they are differnt? if so how come they cant snap out of it? do they feel like they are trapped inside themselfs? i really dont know what like to find out....i am very curious about this..

I have been taking Effexor XR 150mg daily for well over a year. I would like to get off of these meds, but I am having EXTREME withdrawals when I miss just one day of the medication. Can anyone tell me what I need to do and is there ANY way to get off of this medication WITHOUT withdrawals?
