You are in the wrong section. You want religion and spirituality. Oh, and if you think people only get depression because they are not "in" with Jesus, then you need some help of your own.

You don't do anything to deserve depression. It can happen to anybody regardless of who they are and what they did and you need to get treatment for it before you do anything irreversible.
