DON'T DO IT!!!

If you do this, bad things are going to happen without you realize it.
Also, do you want to feel like a weak person by giving in?

Trust me! Getting high is like a cult.
I know a lot of current drug users & former drug users.
The former drug users are nicer people.
The current drug users tend to be complete jerks to a lot of people because they don't care.

It's like drinking & driving mixed. It can affect your judgment. Do not give in!

They say it's cool, but to them being cool is telling life that they don't care anymore! Trust me, you want to care about life. You'll regret it, I guarantee it!!!

My EX-Roommates were drug users. They were all jerks & very immature!! Do you want to be a mature person? Start by walking away from this.

Don't ask drug users if it's okay to NOT get high. They don't know anything. Would you ask a 7 year old a question about sex? They wouldn't know.

Sounds like me when I was young. Had a small amount of friends way back in the day lighting up stuff, sniffing stuff, and popping stuff all around me. As for me, I've never done any drugs and I've had alcohol two times in my entire life. If you don't feel comfortable with something then just don't do it. It's absolutely stupid (INSANE really) to be pushed into doing something that you don't like. And if you do it, be safe where ever you might end up getting high at. Last thing you need is a criminal record or worse. But don't let anybody pressure you into doing something, do it on your own accord.

My wife has never tried any drug. She went through exactly what you are experiencing as a teen and young adult. The bottom line is that getting high is really not that big of a deal, people just try to pump it up because the status makes them feel better about themselves. When you are older, you will not feel regret for not trying drugs, rather a pride that you were one of the few who had enough guts, who had enough resolve, to make you OWN decisions. ANd in that, you will find endless satisfaction. Be strong now, and you will only be stronger later.

Do anything crazy and fun, as long as it's not illegal. Smoking pot and getting high is illegal, and that's a big risk for you to take, ESPECIALLY when you're doing it out of peer pressure.

If they pressure you even when you've said no several times, consider if they are really your friends because they're making you very uncomfortable. Which friends are not supposed to do.

Don't do it. Be a positive role model. You may need to change your friends. I know that is hard to do and, if any of them ask why you don't want to hang with them any more, tell them it is because of the drugs and, if they continue to pressure you, use that last line you just used: You can't live to be old and wise if you are young and crazy and do things that can kill you.

If you want to take risks, try bungee jumping or sky-diving. Drugs are not for courageous risk takers. Drugs are a chemical coping mechanism for people who are afraid of life.

Don't feel like you can't be yourself and keep your friends. Your friends are going through a stupid phase in their lives that most of them will grow out of. Besides, people who do drugs always need a sober friend to drive them home from parties! Let your friends do what they want. Continue to do the things that interest you, and invite your friends to join you. If they're not interested, make more friends.

I've graduated from school. Lots of the people I know who did drugs when they were younger regret it now. I don't know anyone who regrets not doing drugs.

hey megz

i think you should really learn the definition of friend/s....

a true friend would never want you to get in trouble with your family or anything else(school / law).... and they would never want you to develop a menthal illness just to get high for a while.... might be an exciting expirience at first... but trust me you'll ruin everything there is good about you....

i am not suggesting you to stop talking with them... but just think of this... when some thing bad happens to you which one of the pot heads will be there for you while they are all high and stuff....

just cause people asking you to do things doesnt mean that you have to... just act mature about it....

ciao

I would NOT recommend this..but ~ I was in the same situation & the pressure was UNBEARABLE..I puffed on cigarettes & would be like, "nah man ~ I don't touch that stuff..I just stick with my ___fill in the blank" and if you are comfortable with yourself..you'd be amazed how well it works!! I actually had drug dealers telling me "good for you..yeah I need to quit this sh*t too" LOL!! Btw..I didn't inhale *noone even knew* lol

if they're having a good time w/you..it's cool ~ otherwise..they are insecure & anyway..it's truly loserish *DON"T COMPROMISE YOUR FUTURE OVER TURDS!!* Good Luck!!

It sounds to me like you have a really good head on your shoulders. If these are in fact your friends, they will not pressure you in to doing anything you don't want to do. Stay strong and stay away from drugs.

Don't do it cause others want you too do it cause you want to, you have the rest of your life for "experimenting". If you do and you decide it's not for you never ever be ashamed to admit that it wasn't for you. Believe me when you get older and start dating you'd be suprised at how many people rather date someone who isn't a "stoner" or "weedhead". A lot of people find it unatractive.
