Is there anyway I can remove my nose and still breath ok. This is something ive always wanted?

This is kind of weird but im sure someone else has thought of this. I really dont care for my nose and dont want it nomore. Everytime I see a picture of a skull I wonder how much the part without the nose looks so different and so cool. How can I convince a doctor to do this for me? Has anyone else done this before?

Dont worry about your nose, but please could you take a pair of hedgetrimmers to your unibrow, I'm having to have counselling because of it, and keep dreaming of it and wake up screaming.

PS do you think everyone who has appeared on the Jerry springer show be forcably sterilised to prevent them spawning another generation of F**k ups ?

It might help to try and love yourself for who you are. This even includes the look of your nose. If this is such a big issue for you go to counseling and try to resolve your problem with your nose. Noses make up the looks of your character, thats the part I most like on a face is the nose. As far as I can see from your picture your nose is beautiful. Hugs! Von!

People have their nose removed for cancer in the nose. There are a number of issues that you would want to consider before doing anything drastic. It will dramatically change your looks and the nose serves a purpose in moisturizing the air you breathe. If it doesn't do it, then what does?

That is very interesting, but if I looked like your avatar, I would request that the surgeon remove the center of your eyebrows while he's at it. Maybe the scar tissue will not permit the center part of your eyebrows to grow back if you're lucky. However, your eyebrows, especially the center right above your nose, look very thick...so, I wonder if that would work or not. I think you look really nice with the one eyebrow straight across your face as shown in your avatar, but it doesn't hurt to try new things!

Let me tell you something: I have a friend who got skin cancer. The cancer ate away her nose. She has a big hole in her face. The doctors have tried for years to make an artificial nose for her face, but when they try to attach it, her face rejects it. Seriously. She will live the rest of her life without a nose. I know that you are just an ignorant, stupid piece of trash... but really. Get a life, lady--or sir.

ur not gonna breathe ok without the nose,
its not just a pretty fixture,for one thing it contains
glands which produce a sticky substance. when
combined w dirt we call it snot but without this mechanism
germs and dirt will go inside the body by the pound,and
u woud get all kinds of nasty illnesses

Sure...your lungs breath, not your nose. Although you will likely have more problems with sickness and allergies, and possibly affect your lungs. Water will probably get in more easily and give you pneumonia.

your nose warms the air and traps particles.. You can breath through your mouth, so obviously you could get by without it, but I'd say it would look freakish.
