Does anyone else get a headache mid-afternoon while at work? It's been happening to me TOO frequently lately, and the doctors just say that it's stress. Just want some opinions!

Starting almost a week ago now I have had this terrible headache. It is mostly in the front of my head and my eyes hurt as well. It comes and goes, but relief never comes for more than a few hours, even with medication. Additionally, I have severe pain in my neck and a couple of times I have bent over and when I come back up I have a small floating object in my vision that lasts for a good while. Also, it seems to feel better when I am up and moving around and comes back strong when I sit back down, which makes me wonder if it is something to do with the spine? It's kind of scaring me and it'll be a while before I can get to the doctor, so can anyone help? Thanks.

I have had this for about 2 years but is getting worse(or I am getting tired of it) I have always thought it was a sinus infection but antibiotics have not helped - neither have steriod sprays or typical sinus meds. Now that I have gone to the ENT, he doesnt think it is my sinus- I have had a CAT scan but have not received the results yet. He mentioned Neuralgia but my pain is usually limited to my cheek by my nose and is not a tingling shock like neuralgia. Any ideas???

I've already gone to the nuerologist and chiropractor (who made it worse). I'm waiting the results of my MRI, but in the meantime I need something to get rid of the pain so I can actually study a little for my finals which have been postponed because I couldn't read the small print and I was not able to make it to the classes for the last week and a half of the semester. I can now read for a little bit at a time, but still not enough to get any kind of beneficial studying done.
What can I do or take to lessen the pain?

About an hour ago i bumped the back of my head verryy hard. I didn't stand up or walk around right away (i bumped it on my bed's headboard, it's really low and hard). I just laid down for awhile, i almost went to sleep, but didn't.when i stood up to come to my computer my vision was a little blurry. But i DON"T have a bad head ache. I just have a bump that is sore.
Should i worry?

I have a slightly crooked spine in the middle region so he did some adjusting. Deductible + Co-Pays is going to be $860.00 out of pocket. They wanted partial payment yesterday, I'm a college student, told them I couldn't pay anything until after the holidays they are fine with that - either 2 or 3 payments next year. They want me to come in Wed, Thurs, and Friday to get adjustments done.

I've never been to one of these before, so does this sound like everything is on the up and up?

I know many people have had bad exp. with chiropractors so if you could leave your personal opinion out and just give the facts that would be great - Thanks!

This morning I had to relieve myself in the worst way. While sitting on the toilet I questioned myself rather I should sit in the bathtub and fill it just a little ways up so that I could sooth the burning.

Most of the time it's just sit "plop" flush and leave. No problems! Once and awhile regardless of diet it burns like I'm crapping a roman candle.

I'm a 20-year-old female, and every so often I'm woken up during my sleep by really intense pains behind my knee, sometimes stretching down to the calf. I remember this happening since I've been young, probably around the age of seven.

I've never had a severe knee injury, though I did used to play soccer. The last two nights I've been woken up from these pains, and the last couple of days I've been more active than usual, although not excessively so.

It was suggested that the cause could be a calcium deficiency or dehydration. Does anyone know what could be causing these pains?

Thanks!

I had foot surgery this morning and my doctor prescribed me with 10 tylenol #3 pills. I am in severe pain and these will only last into mid afternoon tomorrow. How do i ask him for more, i don't want to sound addicted or desperate. Also, i think i need something stronger, these barely take off the edge, how do i ask that.

Firstly, I'm 29 and this problem began when I was about 21. I am wondering if others with rls would say my symptoms seem to be like theirs. I would also like to see what anyone with arthritis thinks. I have always thought I must have rls but now am unsure because of the sensations some with rls decribe. I hear a lot of people with rls talking about twitching or "creepy crawly" feelings. That doesnt seem to happen with my condition. Mostly, I would describe it like a tight cramp which usually begins in either the arch of my foot, my calf, or the back of my knees. It spreads into a dull ache or cramp that overtakes both legs (usually both) that is only relieved by motion or massaging (and only temporarily.) Sometimes my legs do jerk as a way of responding to the cramps. It only happens with my legs. It also usually only happens in the evening. It has been alot worse during my preganancies.
Thanks. I will vote for good answer and give rating.

For about three days i've had this annoying headache.

The first day there were just sharp shooting pains on the right side of my head around the temporal lobe.
Then it turned into a headache and has been that way for the past three days. When I bend down, or sit or move quickly it becomes more severe, and i'm concerned because i've never had a headache for three days straight.

I've rested and taken medicines but it does only so much and the headache comes back. Is it just a migrane or could it be anything else?

I have a pain in the area starting in my right lower back that shoots down to mid-butt cheek and goes over to my right hip.

When this happens I spasm and must look pretty stupid. It hurts like hell and I want it to know what is going on back there.

--It happened when I was roughousing with my fiance, and flipped him- I think I pinched some nerve, just because of the sharp way it hits me.

If you have any idea what it is let me know.... and I know I know it sounds like the answer would be the sciatic nerve, but it stays in that region, doesn't shoot down my leg, and goes right first.

Any ideas? Anyone? :)
