I have a pain in the area starting in my right lower back that shoots down to mid-butt cheek and goes over to my right hip.
When this happens I spasm and must look pretty stupid. It hurts like hell and I want it to know what is going on back there.
--It happened when I was roughousing with my fiance, and flipped him- I think I pinched some nerve, just because of the sharp way it hits me.
If you have any idea what it is let me know.... and I know I know it sounds like the answer would be the sciatic nerve, but it stays in that region, doesn't shoot down my leg, and goes right first.
Any ideas? Anyone? :)

You might have a herniated disk, I had that two years ago, you need to get some xrays done and maybe a ct scan to be sure, if that is the case then some physical therapy should do the trick. Meanwhile, do not bend, do not lift any heavy objects, and when sitting in the car don't get in there from you side bending it, sit on the cushion with your legs outside in the road and then turn your whole body clockwise (if you are the driver) into the car. Oh and also, try sitting straight, put a small pillow behind your back if you work in an office.

The key is to take care of it asap I started with similar pain 2 years ago, I let it go for a few months and now two years later the pain is worse than ever and I have been diagnosed with piriformis syndrome. I have gone to PT 4 separate times, I have seen numerous doctors and now I am going to pain management just to get through until the docs figure out what my options are. See a doctor ASAP and get to PT right away so you can take care of this. I would never wish this pain on anyone, especially if you have a sit down job. Its literally a pain in the butt. Take care

piriformis muscle is in spasm putting pressure on your sciatic nerve. You need some good stretches and the assistance of a good physical therapist in your area.

If you wish to learn about the actual nature of sciatica or why sciatica is really common and what every one of these problems are attempting to inform to your system you then require to read that eBook Sciatica SOS from here https://tr.im/cM1rS .
Glenn Johnson is the author of Sciatica SOS. He too was overwhelmed by the condition for really a long time in his early 40s. He says he was among the “Early viruses to be diagnosed with sciatica”, and he used a number of probable treatments that the doctors presented, however they never gave him acceptable results.
The eBook Sciatica SOS is unique; it moves the excess distance to help you understand the reason for the situation, what you can certainly do to resolve it and then offers step-by-step recommendations to help you succeed in the treatment.
All this is accomplished in 7 days or less. It is definitely worth a try.

Sounds a lot like sciatica. See a physical therapist for exercises / stretches to keep it limber, otherwise it will slide down your leg, to the back of your knee, etc. You can keep it loose with some very specific exercises - PT is the place to start.
Good Luck.

That is a pinched nerve.
Get "TREAT YOUR OWN BACK" by Robin MacKenzie (I think that's how you spell MacKenzie).
It'll help - it sure did for me!
