I feel for ya. I do suffer from migranes and my doctors both said that ACETAMENOPHEN and CAFFINE together will do wonders if you catch it earlier on. I swear by this method. Excederin has both of these plus asprin. Pain aid is sold in gas stations and works great. I haveeven taken plain tylenol with a can of Mountain Dew(for the caffine content). If it may have to do with sinus and allergy issues, PSEUDOEPHEDRINE will help tremedously.

Whatever you take try to take with a little food or milk, and lay down in the dark for 15 min. let it really have a chance to get working before the sensory overload of our everyday lives.

I just buy generic Sudafed. Infact, in took 2 sudafed and 2 excederin this morning and feel really good!!!!!
Good luck!

I'm not sure what excedrine is, but I take two Solpadeine at the start of a migraine (paracetamol with codeine and caffeine - available over-the-counter, at least in Europe) and it usually stops it in its tracks. If Excedrine contains either paractamol or codeine, obviously you can't take any more, but if it doesn't contain caffeine a cup of coffee might help unless you've had a lot recently.

A teaspoonful of dried ginger stirred into some fresh fruit juice can help, sometimes with some of the symptoms, as can drinking a LOT of water.

excedrin migraine is what usually works for me and if I have to I will shut off the lights and sit in the dark for a while. You sound like you should get a prescription from the doctor for migraine med's...they help alot.

When i had a migraine at work i had to go home and lay in a very dark, quiet room and wait it out... i was worried about even the 10 minute drive home!
My neighbor had chronic migraines and she had some kind of emergency kit where she'd inject herself with some kind of medicine... pretty extreme but i guess it worked for her.
