I see all these different products, tylenol tension headaches, excedrin migraine , arthrites etc...but then when I look at the ingredients, they're all the same as regular tylenol: acetominaphem. How can they claim it's specific for migraines? Is this just a marketing scheme or am I overlooking something?

Well, it all started out 4 years ago when me and my brother were jumping off of swings. Yeah I know pretty dumb. But I did it and landed on the side of my foot and colapsed. Well, I couldn't walk on it for like ...3 months. In total it hurt for 1 year non stop. Now it hurts on and off but now it really hurts.I was in a different country and/or contenent and didn't go to the doctor. Pretty dumb also. Well, after that it hurt whenever I just hurt it alittle it would hurt a lot. I'm going to the doctor but I have 2 wait for my mom to get back from a trip. What does it sound like 2 u? I also heard a loud crack when I landed. Does that mean I broke it? Is it possible that I broke it and it didn't grow back corrctly? What should I do? Do u think it is serious? surgery? Im only 12 FYI.

*how do they re break your bone if it hasn't grown back correctly?*

I had a botched back surgery 12 years ago. I have been seeing a pain management specialist for 10 years and I have an implanted pump with a catheter that delivers medication directly into my spine in the area of the nerves that are damaged. I have completely lost the ability to have a life and I know that I need physical therapy and physchological counseling but in the small town I live in they are not available and I can't drive myself back and forth from the closest city. Any one know of a place in Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Tennesee, and other states close to these? These would be closest to home but I am willing to go anywhere necesssary. I need an inpatient program because I will be there alone. None of my family can rearrange things in order to be with me, but I need help now. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all.

I have had chronic neck pain for years, my understanding is from an accident years ago and I have lost the curvature in my neck. But I no longer have insu. available so I just suck it up and live with it. When it becomes unbearable I will go to a chiropractor, where the last visits left me basically unable to walk or function for a week. So now, I just wait for the pain to leave, which it usually does. Now the last week is so horrible , I have a pingpong ball size knot in my upper spine that can be pushed up and out with massage eventually. Can't really turn head, and this morning had a HUGe earachhe I assume is because of the neck problem. What HOLISTIC and inexpensive or Free treatments can someone suggest. A particular exercise perhaps? It seems to be worse now that I have 15 hour work days and havent been working out. Tips? Help--ouch ouch. THanks!!

I used to take heroin (for about a year) and decided to quit, but just abstinence didn't work for me, so my doctor put me on a substitute therapy, i.e. on Subutex.
It worked fine in the beginning but after two or three weeks I started feeling horrible side effects such as dizziness, headache, sweating, insomnia, sleeping more than 12 hours and waking up half-dead, night mares and swollen ankles.
Should I stop taking Subutex by myself or should I consult my doctor? I'm afraid that if I lower my daily dose of Subutex or even quit, I'll go back to taking heroin.
Please help, I'm desperate.

I used thermacare for my back pain. The instructions say to just open it and it will heat up in 30 min. For me it took longer, after about an hour I wore the thermacare wrap around my back. In 1 hours time I heard an alarm twice, may have been my smoke/CO alarm, but it stopped.
I checked their site and found that the wrap has charcoal, salt and some other natural items that slowly burn when exposed to oxygen.

Wondering if anyone knows if its possible to produce any carbon monoxide as part of its combustion?

In my right knee, the pain is excruciating. Both on the knee cap, where the knee cap meets the bone on the bottom of the knee, and on both sides of the knee cap. When I try to stand it almost feels as if the bone is broken, once I stand the pain diminishes somewhat until I try to bend the knee to walk down or up stairs.

I am 66. Believe me when I say the doctor I have thru my Medicare Supplement is worthless. He has referred me to an orthopedist who is equally uninterested in the fact that I am constantly in tears from this excruciating pain.

I have to work for at least 5 more years before I can retire. While I sit at a computer for 7 hours, I do have to stand up and walk around the office to deliver documents.

Please help me try to reach the correct type of doctor to find out what to do with this pain, and how to treat the cause.

Thank you for any help you can give me.

I woke up and my ear was killing me everytime I swallowed. I took some tylenol and it eventually went away. It came back about 2 hours later. The weird thing is it does not feel like a soar throat, nor do I have any cold symptoms. I feel fine except when I swallow a pain happens near the back of my ear and under the jaw. I can tell my glands are swollen too. Some people have been telling me it's either an ear infection or strep throat. I have no idea what is going on I've never felt this way before. Any help is appreciated.
