i just got over a cold and i woke up and my ear hert am i starting to get an ear ache? i took some ear drops and it kind of relieved the pain but every time i blow my nose my ear will pop a little but it realy hearts help !!!!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone had or know anyone who has had this type of problem? I can find nothing about these symptoms. I get these excruciating cramps in the armpit area (for lack of a better term) and they seem to radiate around to the chest and sometimes the upper arm. Occaisionally down the back also. this has been going on off and on for several months. I've had my heart checked and the Chiroprator said to drink plenty of water and get more calcium. Of course this hasn't worked and the cramps are getting slowly worse and more numerous. I thought maybe a pinched nerve but I looked it up and it says nothing about cramps and the Doc/Chiro seem to blow me off when I mention it. I'm confused, does anyone know anything about this??

What do doctors use to compare different pain meds? Can someone point me to a book or web info? Thanks.

In other words, do 10 mg Vicodin = 10 mg percocet? (not counting any additional non-narcotic meds that may be in the tabs, such as Paracetamol/Tylenol or acetylsalycilic acid)

My back usually hurts, but when my neck hurts, it just goes numb. like it fell assleep. It is the strangest sensation and has been happening for about a year or so. I'm only 26 I am at a healthy weight(135) and am 5'2. Do I need to have surgery or just a reallignment? When I was 16 I went to a chiropractor and couldn't walk for about a month, so I don't really trust them, but my fiance goes about once a week and feels great.

Those who have replyed so far to Chronic Back pain,etc...being a home owner is a constant work out for me.I am physically disabled,I am just now getting the
attention that I should of had in 2003 when I pushed a hand pallet jack with a load weighing 1,228 lbs and a group of idiots who were to back me up as we had no access to a forklift nor a electric jack to place on weigh scale.I settled out of court as I wanted to continue to work once I was able to move half ok.That took me 2 months.I have had orthoscopic surgery 3 times on my shoulder,once on the knee(that is on the verge of giving out again)I am 45,I do have osteoarthrits and now that I have medicare I am getting to the right doctors.I do have my main doctor but there was not much that could be done.In 2004 I went 5 days of horrible pain in my right leg,didn't do anything to it.Finally went to E.R I
was 18 hrs. away from dying to 4 Deep Vein Trambosis and they were in my hip
finally.My right foot swells for no reason now.etc.

my dad has slip disk and we dont know who to go to for help. Chiropractor or physiotherapist. Also, we live in canada and nither of the above therapys are cover by OHIP - governemnt. hence, it is very expensive for us. CAn anybody tell me wat kinda treatment should MY FATHER go for and if there is any financial help we can get from the government or any organization in toronto, Canada. My dad is losing his strength in his legs and this is freakkin all of us out..NEED HELP..PLEASE HELP

since i was pregnant with my second child 4 years ago i have been getting really bad headachs i went to the doctors and i colapesd he said when i had my baby he was gonna give me a brain scan its 4 years on and they have got worse i have to go to hospitle to have 2 injections and then it goes but he wants to book me in for a brain scan i am so scared what could it be.

pain for years...do not remember a time i was pain free. thought i was crazy until a PA said..i think this is what you have. Had all tender spots. fibro "fog". fatigue.if I am touched i hurt in that place for hours! Christmas shopping, shopping on busy days..nightmare cause you're going to get bumped. Leg pain so severe at night I cry. Have been x rayed, mri'd, ct scanned head to toe. no arthritis or anything abnormal, except for some minor changes lower spine..cracked tailbone years ago. I work and rarely miss work, though at times I think my fogginess makes me appear ditzy.taking Effexor for deprssion, which seems to do nothing for the pain or depression. No pain meds, heard they don't work anyway. PLEASE..from people who have been thru it,are there any Dr's in Pa that treat fibro? prefer to not take meds if i don't have to. I am desperate, get worse as I get older. sometimes just to move is a nightmare. please don't answer if you are going to say there is no such thing,need help.

I already deal with neck/cervical back pain/a bad shoulder/my right knee on the verge of giving out again/asthma/copd/born with celiac was treated but did not know you have to live on a glutin free diet.I have other issues,but I have been having this other issue and I can't get my doctor to understand this.I do go to pain management as I also take pain killers.
I have inflamation right at the very end of the tail bone (I hope that is the correct way of putting it) many times I can not raise my ownself up out of bed like as if I have no control and it is very painful.I have to yell for my roommate so
that I can use her arms to at least try and sit up,but I am so stiff and in tears I
need help to stand up.I can't even really describe this matter but it is like I am so
inflamed inside and once I am up I walk so stiff just to get to the restroom.I do
not like the pain,and I don't undertand it.Any idea??

I have been taking Klonopin for anxiety and IBS for over a year now. Any suggestions for getting off of this medicine. I feel panicy when I don't take it, however I do not want to take this medicine anymore.

I have Parkinson's Disease but that seems to be pretty much under control. Last summer I started having edema in my legs and feet and I lost control of my arms and legs. I was diagnosed with injection refraction of the heart, and myclonus due to taking Wellbutrin, and I was hallucinating but I knew that I what I was seeing was not real. I was fine for about 3 weeks after they stopped the Wellbutri and then I started ago but o much as the first time so they stopped the Amantadine - to make a longer story shorter, I now have pain constantly in my hands and fingers, feet and toes. Sometimes it's a burning type pain but sometimes it's shooting pains especially in my fingers. I have back pain which I know I have a degenerative disc sitting on top of my tail bone and that also causes alot of pain. I have days that my speech sounds like Forrest Gump, I've had a hemoglobin of 9 and took two erythropoietin shots so that's up to almost 13. Any input anyone ? The Docs. can't figure it out
