i woke up at 2 am and the tips of my fingers were numb. i went back to sleep and i woke up 2 hours later and my entire right hand was numb. i have type 1 diabetes. is this something to worry about? my hand is still nmb

I've tried so many different sleep medicines and I have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. I'm always tired except when I have to go to bed and I'm struggling to stay awake and alert at school or whatever else I'm doing. I'm only 14 and I'm tired of taking all of these different pills. Does anyone else have this or know what's wrong? My doctor can't figure it out and we've even had a bunch of blood tests done and they say I'm fine.

My daughter knows her shapes, letters, numbers, can count to ten....but she cannot name her colors....not any of them except an actual orange fruit, but if something is pink, she might call that orange too. I am not colored blind and neither is my husband, but my dad is. How is testing done and how early can it be done.

Sometimes I wake up after 6 hours and feel really refreshed and other times, I wake up after 9 hours and feel really tired. Is everyone different and 8 hours is just a generalised amount?

Well, I hear I can't sleep with them in, unless they're ones that are made so you can, but what else can't I do while wearing them? I just got them yesterday, and my eye doctor didn't mention anything else.

I know that we aren't even past Christmas yet. But just wondering how many people made a New Year Resolution for 2006? What was it and did you keep your resolution?
Mine was to lose weight, so my health would improve. I set no limit to how much I would lose, just to lose. As of today, I have lost 29 pounds. Not the greatest record in the world, but at least I did it. My resolution for 2007 is to lose the remaining 8 pounds!
For me it is not easy to lose weight, but I DID IT!!! How about you? What ever your resolution was, did you do it?

i go to sleep everyday at 9pm and have to wake up at 6am every single day. that's about 9 hours of sleep. and i do this every single day, but for some reason i still just cannot get up. it's too hard for me. now if i go to sleep at 12pm, i can get up very easily at 9am. that's still 9 hours of sleep. why is is so? i'm getting the same amount of sleep everyday, and i'm also getting up 6am every single day. why is it that it's soooo hard for me to get up?

two private vacation shools, one school will give diploma saying: graduation of medical lab assistant /Technican (note: two names put together ), another school will give diploma saying : medical lab Technican,

questin:
1. if I got the former one, I belong to lab assistant or Technican ? I am confused, the school says you get both, kidding?

2. two diplomas, they function the same when finding a job??

I have check two schools' course outline, the school giving TECHNICIAN diploma offers shorter course, doen't offer CPR,
and the school giving ASSISTANT/TECHNICIAN (note:two names put together on the diploma ) gives about 200 hours longer couse.

I heard that if you smoke a cigerette in the shower, because of the steam...it eliminates the smell. I occasionally smoke and sometimes I really want to but I can't because my room mates don't like it that I smoke. I would go outside except that, they would smell it on me and tell me that I make the whole place smell like cigerettes as I walk back in. I wanted to eliminate this problem.

I was in an auto accident back in September that messed me up(nothing broken), we were hit from behind, I have gotten better since until recently I had a flare up in my traps, and romboids (sp?). My chiropractor insists it is because I refuse to get my neck cracked, what it the validity of this procedure? When I asked him he couln't explain.
