There are too many factors in such a decision that no one here can give you a straight answer without a lot more information. Your best bet is to open the yellow pages and start calling insurance agents. They can talk you through all the details and help you pick out what is best for you. Get quotes from at least three before you decide.

I recommend that you visit this web page where you can compare rates from different companies: http://insurecheap.us/index.html?src=2YAtyima7S4

If you qualify for medicaid, go for it! It's honestly one of the best programs out there (aside from the fact that you have to be pretty poor to qualify). It covers more than almost any other program. Also, sometimes they have payment options. You can get it for $50/month or something if you make too much to get it free. Worth checking out, definately.

United Healthcare. You only pay 20$ per doctor visit and has a great prescription plan as well.
