There are more factors to your sleep than the number of hours and when you take those hours. Are you stressed? This can cause poor sleep. How about exercise? A regular exercise routine can make you sleep deeper and can stimulate your body to wake up. Diet, your sleep enviornment, your schedule, exercise, stress, stimulation such as TV or surfing the web. So much can alter your sleep system - so look at the whole picture to figure it out.

First answer may be correct. Try staying up until 10-12 with us here on Answers, we be partying then! The more we sleep, the more we want to sleep. Try staying up a little longer. Heck, there been times I was up to 2 a.m. drink some beer and just relax and have fun. I would wake up at 5 a.m., I normally not have to get up until 7 a.m. ;-) And, remember this; "I have Mistletoe" and play a Piano. Ha!

maybe you are sleeping for too long when you go to bed at 9pm and then wake up at 6 am. try staying up untill like 10:30 and waking up at normal time and see how you feel.

Every body's body is different. Some are more "early" risers and some are more "night" people. When you go to sleep at 9pm, do you sleep good throughout the night? Maybe your body is still restless until around midnight.

Sometimes it's just hard to get up, even if you like the day and the day makes you excited. Lots of people have that problem.

I'm not sure, but doctors may have meds to help people get up.

i don't know, but i think if you go to the doctor they'll have medications prescribed to get you to wake up early.
