'Pangolin' may be a doctor, but lacks in knowledge on the subject.
Just plain 'disgusted' with the idea and so ignoring the idea of benefits.
Does she deny that urine is rich in antibodies?

Fully agree with 'simon c'.
And one of the people is a doctor.
Thought a doctor would like to look up the websites given.

There is no proof that what that comes from the body is simply waste.
Urine, 95% of which is water, 2.5% of which is urea, and 2.5% of which is a mixture of minerals, salts, hormones, and enzymes, is not a toxic waste product. Urine is a blood by-product and though it contains some body waste, it is non-toxic.

Perspiration is not waste but to cool the body.
Tears are not waste but lubricate the eyelid.
Mucous in the nasal region traps dust and dirt particles.

Yes, what these people are expressing is that they are trained to feel disgusted by the idea, assuming their urine is harmful.
Those who know about Urotherapy are aware that people practising this 'strange' therapy have come to no harm but enjoyed better health, through it.

"You may think that when it comes to alternative health therapies you've heard it all. But there is one natural therapy you've probably never heard of ---even though it’s one of the most powerful, most researched and most medically proven natural cures ever discovered."

The basic definition of "urine therapy" (Uropathy) is using (your own) urine internally or externally as a way to aid or sustain your heath. Urine therapy, which includes drinking, injecting, massaging with-, and/or bathing in- urine, is an ancient practice that is used today, not only in times of sickness, but also in times of good health for preventive health maintenance.

I have not read the article but assume that it relates to the health benefits of drinking one's own urine. The benefits are well documented you'll find lots of information about the practise . Those that have responded so far know nothing of this and are speaking pnly from ignorance. Mahatma Ghandi never wasted a drop

This is a misquoted Bible verse, taken out of context. It has NOTHING to do with drinking urine! John 7:38 even comes with an explanation of what Jesus actually meant when he said it: "38Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him." 39By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified."
The Holy Spirit has nothing to do with urine.
As others have posted, drinking something your body excretes (ie tries to get rid of) is stupid, counterproductive and dangerous.

You've got to be a NUT to drink your own urine. God put kidneys in our bodies to get RID of stuff. Only a true idiot would turn around and put the same waste back into his body.
