questin:
1. if I got the former one, I belong to lab assistant or Technican ? I am confused, the school says you get both, kidding?

2. two diplomas, they function the same when finding a job??

I have check two schools' course outline, the school giving TECHNICIAN diploma offers shorter course, doen't offer CPR,

Lab techs & lab assistants are the same thing as far as jobs go. The position may be worded either way. I'm all for further education but if the extra 200 hours doesn't give you an advantage, you may wish to go with the shorter course and take a CPR class on your own.

So..what does the extra 200 hours provide? Does it include BLS CPR? These courses aren't cheap so you may want to go with the longer course. Put aside the titles for now and compare what each course offers in the way of education and clinical training and compare the cost of each program. Most likely one will have an advantage over the other.

Where do you live because here a lot of hospitals are hiring nursing students I know the economy is currently bad but just keep trying and if you are certified in phelbotomy and EKG then go to a local temp agency within your city and apply(nothing wrong with a little white lie on the application) just so you can build experience anyway Take Care and God Bless
