im a nurse, my pt.is saying that when she has a bladder spasm it pushes her foley out & needs it replaced. she has had her foley chngd 7 times in sept. alone. can someone give me some insight?pt is 35yo wf morbidly obese. also pt just finished iv abx for septic arthritis. alert and oriented.

I was going to go and get my flu shot today but I think I already have the flu. I've been sick since yesterday but it's much worse today. Would it help to still get the flu shot when I get better or is it too late since I already caught it? Can I get one today anyway or do I need to wait until this clears up?

She needs about 6 meds that total 1200.00 per month to help keep her breathing. Any help ..I heard there is a way but I dont know where to turn. I am on social security ( retired ) and cant afford her medications.

My eye lid has been twitching on and off for two days.

It doesn't hurt, it is just twitching a lot, and no one has noticed it.

Why is it twitching?

I have a livid, dead-like face and i am always not feeling good, my energy level low, always tired etc. I ran medical tests and they were all ok. What could it be ? I can't stand my yellowish dead-like face and my crappy mood anymore. I am too thin, this could be it ? I work in a bank, and i cant do my job anymore, 'cause of my low energy, and my colleagues are actually frightened by my skin colour. Do something plehehease ! Thx

Ok eveyone I am 16 years old and I am 47kgs and i am like very weak for my age. I get tired very soon when I swim. I cannot work much it jus that i get tired very soon. What can I do to increase my strength? My fiance doubles over in pain when he eats sometimes. It used to be everyday, but now it's not as bad. He doesn't have insurance, so thats why he hasn't been diagnosed yet. Probably an ulcer, right?

I am very worried as I have recieved the results for my urine sample and I was toold to re-visit my GP therefore I believe these are positive results. What can this mean? It cant be anything REALLY serious can it?

Back in August, a peptic ulcer I have had since high school flared up worse than ever, landing me in the ER. I recognize the symptoms of it and take Prilosec (though at times I forget). Sometimes, it gets irritated, but nothing debilitating.
The other night, I woke up with stomach pains--went to the bathroom and nearly passed out. I was doubled over, nearly vomiting, and got horrible cold sweats. I did not vomit but had diarrhea.
Anyway, I have had food poisoning before, and the symptoms I had were exactly those. However, nobody else who ate what I did that day got sick.
Does it sound like food poisoning or is this a bizarre ulcer flare up of which I should be aware? Thanks!

If I don't take the laxs I cannot go to the toilet at all even though I eat fresh veg and fruit every night. I'm sick of my meals always being veg and sick of being sick after taking the laxs. Can any one suggest anything to help with IBS? I am undergoing treatment on my bowells but the clinic I'm under make me wait upto 8 wks for the next lot of treatment. This seems to be taking to long as I'm waiting to start back at work and can't because of having to go to the toilet all the time.
