Why does my top number range from 130 to 142 My bottom number is always the same - 75. Is this dangerous, is it normal for my age (over 60). Once in a while my top number will be 128. Blood pressure medicines have harsh side affects for me so I do not take them. Thank you.

I am just wanting people who have been in a coma, or people who have worked with or talked to people who have been in one, to tell me what it is actually like. Is it one long sleep, with dreams and diffferent realities. Or is it like been awake within a paralised body?? I am just really interested to know.

I started feeling sick right after work yesturday, I've been in bed, drinking water and eating soup. I laid down to go to sleep 6 hours ago and I still can't fall asleep because I just keep salivating. It's like just flowing out of my mouth and everytime I try a piece of bread it makes me feel a bit better but only for about 7 minutes and I'm almost sleep until bam, my mouth is full of saliva again. I just want to sleep... Any one know how to make it stop?

What could be the cause of constant nightmares, different nightmares every night, waking up with fever and shaking! I have not taken any different medication, my life is very busy but no more than normal but obviously I'm more tired as I wake up several times in the night! Any ideas what could be causing it?

Everytime I sleep on my back I get nocturnal calf cramps.
If I sleep on my stomach the problem doesn't occur, but of course people move in their sleep and it would just be nice to lie on my back. Has anyone suffered from the same ailment or found a cure?

It is a lump on my right leg which is only visible sometimes like when I stay in certain positions. It is most commonly visible when I put my weight on my right leg and walk on it.
It's a very soft lump and I can easily press it down. I do not feel pain and it is not red, or any other weird color--It is under my skin and blends in evenly. It is about the size of a quarter.
I have had it my whole life.
What could it be?
I always forget to mention it to my doctor and wonder if it is worth a visit to the hospital?
As I said, I've had it my whole life and it has not changed one bit. It does not bother me but I do not want it there. I do not like the way it looks when visible.
What could it be???

I was dreaming I was jack bauer in a sinking ship and the oxygen supply was running low. no underwater breathing apparatus could be found. i woke up on the floor covered in blood. I had a concussion, broken nose, and my lip needed 10 stitches. I live in bangkok so the doctor couldnt even speak english. the scarring is minimal, but i am still concerned whether or not my brain functions normally.

I have started doing pranayama but one problem is after taking deep breathe and then exhaling it I feel fatigued soon, as if I am not able to sit and see dark in eyes. I stop doing it for a while and gradually recover. Should I continue pranayama or should I not? may be my body cannot tolerate this?
Another question is have you noticed that pranayama involves deep inhalation and exhalation and usual aerobics like running also give rise to deep and frequent inhalation and exhalation. so are these two (pranayama and aerobics) equivalent? wiil it be ok if I do only one of them and not the other?

Sorry if this is gross... but i have to ask it. I just had some chiropractic work done on my back, i have A LOT wrong after 17 years of competitive figure skating (im 19), i have scoliosis(pretty bad), pinched nerves in my lower back and hip, multiple occurances of whip-lash, and my neck is all screwed up besides the whip lash. Today was my first adjustment and i was wondering if doing things to the spine will make your bowels more active or anything. I know that back problems can cause constipation but will adjustments make you have to go poop? Maybe from the relaxing of the muscles it causes the bowels to relax....maybe i just answered my own question, anyways i still want to hear from you guys.
