my lip has a blister thing on it that pours out puss whenever it is cracked open. i have tried vasaline, cocoa butter, blistex and something else (i think its viatimin E stuff) but nothing will make it go away. ive tried everything for about two weeks each and it still is there.

About 4 weeks ago I got my bottom holes on my ears repierced and the left ear healed fine and the right is swollen, red still and when I changed out the ear ring the hole is bigger then the other and full of puss. how do you help heal it? (serious answers please)

My two-year old son burned his hand on a curling iron. The burn area is between his thumb and index finger. The first couple of days I treated it with triple antibiotic ointment and covered it with guaze and paper tape. Do I need to keep covering it? Will it ever heal if it never has a chance to dry out and form a scab?

last week my manicurist cut my nail bed. (yes, she's fired) i cleaned the cut with betadine and put a band aid with an antibiotic ointment on it. it is still very painful, and now my finger tip is slightly swollen, red with a little bit of pus. (gross i know) i'm worried about an infection and/or blood poisoning. what are the symptoms of blood poisoning, and has anyone had a similar cut or injury? and when should i be worried? i hate going to the doctor!
