Ask your doctor. You don't know if what bite you or caused that might have inserted POISON in you!

You can have three types of reactions to an insect bite. If it was poisonous then you'll have poison reaction (like bee sting, would be very painful welt), if it is infected then it would be like a pimple (spreading readness and some pus), and if you are allergic you would get a hive type reaction (very itchy welt).

The most important thing is to figure out if there was a chance of it being poisonous. Are there poisonous spiders where you live? Were you in an attic or basement area where reclusive spiders might inhabit? Most of North America have some poisonous spiders.

In any case, if you don't know go see doctor!

It could be a spider bite and what you describe is pretty right-on. You need to watch it carefully. Is it itchy? What color is the wound? Usually spider venom makes a red, itchy sore. Depending on how much venom was injected, it can cause the skin and surrounding tissue to die - hence the wound gets bigger. You can try treating it with antibiotic ointment. Keep it clean and dry. If it doesn't begin to heal in the next couple of days, you might want to schedule and appointment with your M.D.

The puss will come out just keep it clean by sterilizing it.

Put a bandaide on it too if its open to keep germs out.
