When the lid came off, no blisters, but is burning and sore, apart from sitting with his hand in a glass of water, what can he do to relieve the burning sensation?

Basically my boyfriend cut his index finger on a piece of glass on Christmas Eve and he is saying that the end of his finger is numb and somtimes tingly. The cut itself has sealed without scab but it is red and swollen. Is this normal or should he get is checked out?

I just realized I have a little splinter in my thumb, and none of it is on the surface, so I can't pull it out. I've tried squeezing it out with my fingers but that wouldn't work either, what should I do?

MY EARS R INFECTED AND SWOLEN!! can u put peroxide even though u put that antiseptic? on the directions, it says not to used either peroxide or alcohol! i forgot which one it said not to use! i lost the directions! plz help!

Someone recently told me that if you put rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and put it on your belly button then your fever will go down.

That same person also told me that if you put a lime in your belly button it will do something else.

The person who told me this was a nurse. I've heard this before, but...where did she get this? What's the reasoning behind it?

i know that picking a scab makes it more likely to have a scar, but if there's not a scab, but just new skin that hasn't all the way healed yet, will cutting the same spot again leave a scar? what about putting a bandaid so the sticky part is on an old cut that hasn't totally healed yet?

Looking for a cream with no menthol as my daughter is either allergic to menthol or her skin is just too sensitive to handle it. Is there even a cream out there that works that doesn't contain menthol? Everyone I have ever used that actually helps contains it so. Thanks in advance for any good suggestions!

e.g. asthma puffers, epi pens.
a risk assessment would have to be carried out, as would consultation with staff, a description of the likely hazards to be found in the workplace - dust - allergens.
