under workcover and other nsw Acts, what must be done to gain approval to have drugs and medications included in first aid rooms and first aid kits in the workplace.
e.g. asthma puffers, epi pens.
a risk assessment would have to be carried out, as would consultation with staff, a description of the likely hazards to be found in the workplace - dust - allergens.
what else?
I would be most grateful for your responses

You cannot hold drugs of any kind in 1st Aid kits as 1st Aiders are not trained to dispense them, this even includes things like Aspirin.

The only difference is in kits specifically for fully trained paramedics, which general 1st Aiders should have no access to.

My wife is a Medical Licensing director for state government also serves on a federal board that deals with this pharmaceutical drugs in society.

Medications that are prescribed for any individual are required to be used only by the person whom the prescriptions were issued to.

All controlled substances can only be despensed to the person whom they were prescribed for. Pain med's, asthma meds-puffers etc. these drugs have to be under lock and key and records of their despense must be painstakingly kept and reviewed by government on a regular basis. In order for them to be despensed a licensed pharmacy technician is the only way they can be given out and only to a person who has that prescription.

You are walking a very fine line of legality in this. You are advised that a standard first aid kit would be best, leave the other prescription drugs out of the kit or you could face arrest, prosecution and heavy fines if found in possession of such a first aid kit that contains prescription drugs.

Where do you live? If it's in the United States, those meds are prescription only. You would have to get a doctor's OK to carry those meds, and would probably have to staff someone medically qualified to administer them. EMT-Basics would only be allowed to administer those meds if they are prescribed to the patient, so you would have to hire an EMT-Paramedic. You can probably find a service that will contract out a paramedic for your company, because it will be really difficult to set it up so you can have one independently (you will have to find a doctor to sponsor the paramedic, write protocols for the use of meds and procedures, get some medical insurance, etc).
Hope this helps!

No, because it truly is a German vehicle and it truly is a call for there, it would want to have an empty one. Its a strong component to have inspite of the indisputable fact that for the apparent reason, and that in case you get pulled over in a usa the position it truly is a legal requirement it would want to get you out of a great for not having it.
