i have been having nose bleed since the age of 4, now im 16 and i still have it. i have it about 4-10 times a month and i noticed that it gets more serious by the year... my parents dont seem to care anymore if i sit in the bathroom for some hours trying to stop the blood rushing... but i start feeling dizzy and get a headache, i want to know what i should do, think, or if im jsut overreacting

I recently fell snowboarding and got a bruse on my lshin. Within 3 hours it has quadrupeled in size, sry for the spelling. I was wondering how to make it shrink, go away, or even just stop it from growing.

i have had this problem on and off for 2 years now my ear starts bleeding really bad from the cartlige.!! i once even went to the er to stop it from bleeding it kept coming out really fast it was all over everything.. i have had itcartilised 3 times now ..if i put alot of pressure on it it stops in abot 15 minutes.. what could this be a sign of??

snake bites are sometimes deadly , what actually causes death, how one can save life, is a tight bandage above 6 inches the bite really works, diff venoms work diff ways, why do people still believe tie a bandage, suck and spit the venom out which is no longer the right thing.

and I heard that if you are stressed out alot, it could cause defects or even an early birth. Im worried I might be hurting myself and my baby from being stressed out alot everyday. I got a book on relaxation and that seems to work a little bit. But what if Im too late, is it true I can hurt my baby?

i had a bite on my knee and it was red and round very swollen and very hot to the touch, well last night the back of my knee was itching and i look and its the same bite but its just getting bigger and swollen. i was just wondering if anyone had any clue to what it could be. please help!!!

The ER doctors said the hand doctor would probably repair the finger with a steel pin. Called hand doctor for an appointment. Earliest he can see me is two weeks. Is it okay to let a broken finger, that probably will need a steel pin, go for 14 days?

Yesterday morning, I woke up to what thought to be a huge pimple, then as the day went on I ended up having this huge swollen lump with what looks like a pimple in the middle, and it is right below my eye. I put ice on it all day and tonight oozzy (sp) clear liquid type stuff began coming out of it, I dont know whether I should keep on getting the ooze out to reduce the swelling or if it will make it even worse? I have to go see my entire boyfriends fammily tommorow and am hoping for the swelling to go down over night, any advice would be appreciated!!!

I just got a nosebleed and it lasted approx. 45 min. I was coughing up blood... >.< I also feel light headed, and I look pale. (blood loss?) At one time, both of my nostrils were bleeding. My throat also feels like its burning, and it hurts to swallow.

Is this normal?

i hit my head on this thing then my head started bleeding i put ice and then put pressure to stop the bleeding then i put some rubbing elcohol on it i got it yesterday.it doesent hurt anymore and it looks like its fine.should like i do anything to let it heal faster?or anyother tips

I will be teaching English in Egypt, but I've also been appointed to work as a first aider. I'm a pharmacy technician and CPR certified. However, this will be my first time working in first aid. what possible problems or ijuries should I expect to happen to students. Any advice of good techniques to aid in a more professional manner from my side? They also told me I'm just supposed to tell them what to do, not take any hands-on procedures. I think a first aider duty is more than that, like taking an action and offering remedies. Experienced members, please give me some advice. much appreciated!
